Founded in 2010, it emerged from the convergence of artists, organizers and larp designers coming from the leading gaming associations in the field, as well as from specialized companies, theatre and the audiovisual world, figures who have played a major role in shaping the Italian scene from the early 1990s to the present day.

 

Eryados organized the blockbuster larp series Arcaniversitas, Magicampus, Torrebruma Campus, Stranger Town, Projekt K.L.A.R.A., Metropolitan, OMEGA; the larps Thrilling Weekend - Paradise Lost, S. Gertrude Krankenhaus, Puccini: Tramontate, stelle!, The Haunting; the edu-larps Via Quattro Fontane, Utopia, The Wall; The Wheel of Time, the first Larp Show produced by Prime Video. Since 2018 it hosts the screenwriting internship of RUFA-Rome University of Fine Arts. It has been instrumental in the professional recognition of the figure of the Larp Designer by Writers Guild Italia, the union of Italian screenwriters, in 2020. Since 2023 Eryados is a main partner of International Larp Database, a project funded by Italian Ministry of Culture and European Union.
